CSV data dictionary

Definitions, sources, calculations, and possible values for every column in the All Rounds CSV export. Columns appear below in the same order as the exported file.

Column 1 · Text

golfer_name

Definition: Display name of the golfer.
Calculation or source: Golfer profile stored by Keedy's Cup.
Possible values: Golfer names in the tracker.
Blank when: Never for a valid exported round.

Column 2 · Text identifier

golfer_id

Definition: Golfer's GHIN number.
Calculation or source: GHIN golfer identifier; exported as text to preserve identifier formatting.
Possible values: Numeric-looking identifier stored as text.
Blank when: Never for a valid exported round.

Column 3 · Integer identifier

ghin_score_id

Definition: GHIN identifier for the individual score record.
Calculation or source: GHIN score payload.
Possible values: Positive integer.
Blank when: Never for a valid exported round.

Column 4 · Integer

golfer_round_number

Definition: Stable position of the round in that golfer's complete known history, with the oldest round numbered 1.
Calculation or source: Canonical GHIN response order across the golfer's full stored history.
Possible values: Positive integer.
Blank when: Canonical history rank is unavailable.

Column 5 · Integer

filtered_golfer_sequence

Definition: Position of this golfer's round among the filtered export rows in the active export order.
Calculation or source: Sequential count per golfer after filters and sorting are applied.
Possible values: Positive integer beginning at 1 for each golfer.
Blank when: Never.

Column 6 · Text month

posted_month

Definition: Normalized month used for consistent round-date analysis.
Calculation or source: First valid year-month from normalized played date, raw played date, then display/posting date.
Possible values: YYYY-MM.
Blank when: No valid year-month can be determined.

Column 7 · Number

adjusted_gross_score

Definition: Score after GHIN handicap adjustments such as net double bogey.
Calculation or source: GHIN adjusted gross score.
Possible values: Non-negative stroke total; may represent 9 or 18 holes.
Blank when: GHIN did not provide the score.

Column 8 · Decimal

adjusted_differential

Definition: Published Score Differential before any Exceptional Score Reduction is applied.
Calculation or source: GHIN scaled-up differential when present; otherwise GHIN differential. It already reflects rating, slope, and applicable PCC.
Possible values: Signed decimal, normally one decimal place.
Blank when: GHIN did not provide a usable differential.

Column 9 · Decimal

adjusted_differential_with_exceptional

Definition: Score Differential after the GHIN-recorded Exceptional Score Reduction attached to this score record.
Calculation or source: adjusted_differential + exceptional_score_reduction; rounded to one decimal.
Possible values: Signed decimal, normally one decimal place.
Blank when: The adjusted differential is unavailable.

Column 10 · Integer

holes_played

Definition: Actual number of holes represented by the score.
Calculation or source: Stored GHIN number_of_played_holes value.
Possible values: Usually 9 or 18; other values may occur in historical data.
Blank when: GHIN did not provide an actual hole count.

Column 11 · Code

score_type

Definition: Underlying or legacy GHIN score-type code.
Calculation or source: GHIN score_type.
Possible values: Common values: A = Away, H = Home, C = legacy combined/nine-hole, T = legacy tournament/competition.
Blank when: GHIN did not provide a score type.

Column 12 · Code

score_type_full

Definition: Detailed GHIN display code containing score-type qualifiers.
Calculation or source: GHIN score_type_display_full.
Possible values: A = Away, H = Home, N = Nine-hole, C = Competition, E = Exceptional; codes may be combined, such as NH, NA, CH, CA, NCH, NCA, AE, HE, or NE.
Blank when: Detailed historical score-type metadata is unavailable.

Column 13 · Decimal

pcc

Definition: Playing Conditions Calculation adjustment assigned to the round.
Calculation or source: GHIN PCC value included in the Score Differential calculation.
Possible values: Usually 0; GHIN history may contain signed whole- or half-stroke adjustments.
Blank when: GHIN did not provide a PCC value.

Column 14 · Decimal

calculated_index_before_round

Definition: Calculated Handicap Index immediately before this round.
Calculation or source: Average of the lowest 8 ESR-adjusted differentials from the preceding 20 usable rounds. Reliable rows apply the authoritative Low Handicap Index cap context and tenth-place rounding; older rows retain the uncapped model.
Possible values: Signed decimal to one decimal place.
Blank when: Fewer than 20 preceding usable differentials exist.

Column 15 · Decimal

calculated_index_after_round

Definition: Calculated Handicap Index after this round enters the rolling record.
Calculation or source: Average of the lowest 8 ESR-adjusted differentials from the new 20-round window. A newly triggered ESR is applied before authoritative soft/hard caps and tenth-place rounding when reliable cap context exists.
Possible values: Signed decimal to one decimal place.
Blank when: Fewer than 20 preceding usable differentials exist.

Column 16 · Decimal

hi_impact

Definition: Change in the calculated Handicap Index caused by the round.
Calculation or source: For validated cap-aware rows, published-scale calculated_index_after_round − calculated_index_before_round after soft/hard caps and tenth-place rounding. Older rows retain the uncapped model estimate.
Possible values: Negative = index decreased; 0 = unchanged; positive = index increased.
Blank when: Before/after calculated indexes are unavailable.

Column 17 · Category

hi_impact_basis

Definition: Confidence and calculation basis for the HI impact.
Calculation or source: Cap-adjusted requires authoritative before/after GHIN snapshots, precise posting data, Low Handicap Index values, and agreement with the ending snapshot. Otherwise the legacy uncapped model is retained.
Possible values: cap-adjusted; uncapped-estimate.
Blank when: HI impact is unavailable.

Column 18 · Category

cap_applied

Definition: WHS cap applied to the calculated index after the round.
Calculation or source: Derived from the authoritative Low Handicap Index using the soft-cap reduction followed by the hard-cap ceiling.
Possible values: soft; hard.
Blank when: No cap applies or cap context is unavailable.

Column 19 · Decimal

previous_hi_diff_delta

Definition: How the round's published differential compares with the calculated index before the round.
Calculation or source: adjusted_differential − calculated_index_before_round; exported to three decimals.
Possible values: Negative = better than prior index; 0 = equal; positive = worse.
Blank when: Differential or prior calculated index is unavailable.

Column 20 · Category

quality

Definition: Performance-quality bucket based on the modeled chance of producing a round this good or better.
Calculation or source: Bucketed from the app's handicap-conditioned score-quality probability.
Possible values: Legacy <1%; Excellent 1–<5%; Great 5–<10%; Good 10–<25%; Routine 25–50%; Subpar >50%.
Blank when: A prior calculated index is unavailable.

Column 21 · Decimal probability

quality_chance_percent

Definition: Modeled chance of producing a round this good or better.
Calculation or source: App quality model using the calculated index before the round, including validated cap adjustments when available, and the round's differential delta; exported as probability rather than display percent.
Possible values: 0 through 1; for example, 0.224568 = 22.4568%.
Blank when: A prior calculated index is unavailable.

Column 22 · Text

course_name

Definition: Name of the course associated with the score.
Calculation or source: GHIN historical score metadata.
Possible values: Course name.
Blank when: Course metadata is unavailable.

Column 23 · Text

facility_name

Definition: Name of the golf facility associated with the score.
Calculation or source: GHIN historical score metadata.
Possible values: Facility name.
Blank when: Facility metadata is unavailable.

Column 24 · Text

tee_name

Definition: Tee-set name used for the round.
Calculation or source: GHIN historical score metadata.
Possible values: Tee name or color.
Blank when: Tee metadata is unavailable.

Column 25 · Identifier

course_id

Definition: GHIN identifier for the course.
Calculation or source: GHIN historical score metadata.
Possible values: Text or numeric-looking identifier.
Blank when: Course metadata is unavailable.

Column 26 · Identifier

tee_set_id

Definition: GHIN identifier for the tee set.
Calculation or source: GHIN historical score metadata.
Possible values: Text or numeric-looking identifier.
Blank when: Tee metadata is unavailable.

Column 27 · Code

tee_set_side

Definition: Portion of the tee set used for the score.
Calculation or source: GHIN historical score metadata.
Possible values: All18 = full 18 holes; F9 = front nine; B9 = back nine.
Blank when: Tee-side metadata is unavailable.

Column 28 · Decimal

course_rating

Definition: Scratch-player difficulty rating for the course and tees used.
Calculation or source: GHIN Course Rating.
Possible values: Positive decimal.
Blank when: GHIN did not provide a Course Rating.

Column 29 · Integer

slope_rating

Definition: Relative course difficulty for non-scratch players compared with scratch players.
Calculation or source: GHIN Slope Rating.
Possible values: Positive integer; 113 represents standard relative difficulty.
Blank when: GHIN did not provide a Slope Rating.

Column 30 · Number

front_9_adjusted_score

Definition: Adjusted score attributed to the front nine.
Calculation or source: GHIN front9_adjusted historical metadata.
Possible values: Non-negative stroke total.
Blank when: GHIN did not provide a front-nine split.

Column 31 · Number

back_9_adjusted_score

Definition: Adjusted score attributed to the back nine.
Calculation or source: GHIN back9_adjusted historical metadata.
Possible values: Non-negative stroke total.
Blank when: GHIN did not provide a back-nine split.

Column 32 · Boolean

exceptional

Definition: Whether GHIN identifies this round as the exceptional score that triggered an ESR.
Calculation or source: GHIN exceptional flag.
Possible values: true or false.
Blank when: Never; false is used when not flagged.

Column 33 · Decimal

exceptional_score_reduction

Definition: Exceptional Score Reduction currently attached by GHIN to this score record.
Calculation or source: Sum of GHIN adjustments whose type is esr. The reduction can appear on the trigger round and earlier affected rounds.
Possible values: Usually -1 or -2; reductions can be cumulative.
Blank when: No ESR adjustment is attached to the score record.

Column 34 · Integer

scorecard_x_hole_count

Definition: Count of scorecard holes marked X, indicating no valid completed hole score.
Calculation or source: Count of GHIN hole_details rows where x_hole is true.
Possible values: 0 or a positive integer.
Blank when: No hole-by-hole scorecard is available.

Column 35 · Integer

scorecard_par

Definition: Sum of recorded par values for non-X scorecard holes.
Calculation or source: Sum of hole_details.par, excluding X holes.
Possible values: Non-negative integer; may be lower than full course par when holes are excluded or missing.
Blank when: No usable hole-level par values are available.

Column 36 · Integer

scorecard_raw_score

Definition: Sum of raw strokes recorded on non-X scorecard holes.
Calculation or source: Sum of hole_details.raw_score, excluding X holes.
Possible values: Non-negative integer.
Blank when: No usable hole-level raw scores are available.

Column 37 · Integer

scorecard_to_par

Definition: Raw score relative to par across non-X holes with both score and par recorded.
Calculation or source: Sum of raw_score − par for eligible scorecard holes.
Possible values: Negative = under par; 0 = even par; positive = over par.
Blank when: No holes contain both a usable raw score and par.

Column 38 · Integer

eagle_or_better_count

Definition: Number of non-X holes completed at two or more strokes under par.
Calculation or source: Count where raw_score − par <= -2.
Possible values: 0 or a positive integer.
Blank when: No usable hole-by-hole score and par data are available.

Column 39 · Integer

birdie_count

Definition: Number of non-X holes completed one stroke under par.
Calculation or source: Count where raw_score − par = -1.
Possible values: 0 or a positive integer.
Blank when: No usable hole-by-hole score and par data are available.

Column 40 · Integer

par_count

Definition: Number of non-X holes completed at par.
Calculation or source: Count where raw_score − par = 0.
Possible values: 0 or a positive integer.
Blank when: No usable hole-by-hole score and par data are available.

Column 41 · Integer

bogey_count

Definition: Number of non-X holes completed one stroke over par.
Calculation or source: Count where raw_score − par = 1.
Possible values: 0 or a positive integer.
Blank when: No usable hole-by-hole score and par data are available.

Column 42 · Integer

double_bogey_or_worse_count

Definition: Number of non-X holes completed two or more strokes over par.
Calculation or source: Count where raw_score − par >= 2.
Possible values: 0 or a positive integer.
Blank when: No usable hole-by-hole score and par data are available.

Column 43 · Integer

putts_total

Definition: Total recorded putts on non-X holes.
Calculation or source: Sum of hole_details.putts where a value is present, excluding X holes.
Possible values: 0 or a positive integer.
Blank when: No hole-level putt values are available.

Column 44 · Integer

fairways_hit

Definition: Number of recorded non-X holes marked as fairways hit.
Calculation or source: Count of true hole_details.fairway_hit values.
Possible values: 0 through fairways_recorded.
Blank when: No hole-level fairway values are recorded.

Column 45 · Integer

fairways_recorded

Definition: Number of non-X holes for which a fairway result was recorded.
Calculation or source: Count of non-null hole_details.fairway_hit values.
Possible values: 0 or a positive integer; this is the denominator for fairways_hit.
Blank when: No hole-level fairway values are recorded.

Column 46 · Integer

gir_hit

Definition: Number of recorded non-X holes marked as greens in regulation.
Calculation or source: Count of true hole_details.gir_flag values.
Possible values: 0 through gir_recorded.
Blank when: No hole-level GIR values are recorded.

Column 47 · Integer

gir_recorded

Definition: Number of non-X holes for which a green-in-regulation result was recorded.
Calculation or source: Count of non-null hole_details.gir_flag values.
Possible values: 0 or a positive integer; this is the denominator for gir_hit.
Blank when: No hole-level GIR values are recorded.
